About the Dietz Victor: The Victor evolved from the Dietz "Side Lift" introduced around 1890. After a factory fire in 1897, the Victor name was adopted exclusively. Over 40+ years of production, at least 7 distinct variations were made. All Victors use a #1 burner and 5/8" wick and accept a Fitzall globe.
